Abode has expanded its premium kitchen tap portfolio with the launch of the Arkitect Boiling Water Tap, a new British-designed model created to meet growing demand for multifunctional kitchen wet zones with a more architectural aesthetic.

The new Arkitect range is one of five boiling water tap launches planned by the company in 2026 and combines angular styling with practical functionality. Inspired by Abode's Fraction and Agilis mixer taps, the design features an L-shaped spout and slim single lever intended to fit neatly beneath wall cupboards or shelving while still offering enough height for filling pans and jugs.
Dan Biddle, Product Manager at Abode, said the new model was "defined by shape, aesthetic impact, and functional purpose," adding that the launch also introduced the company's new Gunmetal finish to reflect demand for darker kitchen finishes.
The tap delivers instant boiling water, filtered cold water and standard hot and cold mains water from a single fitting. It is available in five finishes: Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Matt Black, PVD Brass and Gunmetal.
Behind the design, the range is paired with Abode's new PB3X Boiler, a compact three-litre boiler designed to save under-sink cupboard space. The system includes faster heat-up times, limescale protection, intelligent filter and descale management, remote controls, and ECO and boost modes.
Each tap is supplied with a precision water filter, while a two-stage safety handle controls boiling water delivery and adjustable temperature settings aim to improve both efficiency and safety.
Paul Illingworth, Design Manager at Abode, said the company will extend the design language later this year with the launch of the Arkitect Flex Pro Spray in August, adding pull-around functionality alongside boiling and filtered water on demand.
