Nobia Denmark lifts profit despite wider group pressures

Nobia has reported stronger results in Denmark even as the wider Swedish kitchen group continues to face losses, restructuring measures and weaker market conditions elsewhere.

According to newly released accounts, Danish subsidiary Nobia Denmark increased profit after tax to DKK296m in 2025, up from DKK279m the previous year.

Revenue also improved to DKK2.6bn, highlighting resilient demand in the Danish market despite ongoing pressure across the broader European kitchen sector.

Management said the annual result was satisfactory and in line with expectations for the year.

The performance contrasts with challenges across the wider Nobia group, which has been dealing with subdued consumer demand, losses and a major restructuring programme as it works to improve efficiency and restore profitability.

The Danish business is led by Jesper Gylling Olsen, who has overseen the latest set of results. The update suggests Denmark remains an important profit contributor for Nobia as the group navigates softer conditions in other markets.
