Founded in 1998 by the Puylaert family, the Belgian textile house has built a reputation among interior designers and decorators for supplying premium fabrics used in high-end residential and hospitality projects worldwide.

Nature-led textile direction
The Azimuth collection draws on the raw beauty of desert environments, combining linen, wool, silk, jute and mohair velvet with weathered finishes, open weaves and geometric accents. Warm shades of sand, saffron, clay white, amber, burgundy and olive are intended to evolve with changing light.

According to the brand, the collection explores the relationship between people, materials and environment through texture and touch, offering what it describes as a sensory landscape between earth and horizon.

Installation at 5VIE
The collection is being shown as part of 5VIE, the long-running programme in Milan's historic centre known for championing craft-led and analogue experiences during design week.

Set within a 19th-century palazzo on Via Cesare Correnti, the presentation uses the architecture as part of the experience, with fabrics integrated into a spatial installation shaped by texture, rhythm and light.

Collaboration with Nathalie Van der Massen
For the Milan showcase, Nathalie Van der Massen was invited to create a series of bespoke screens titled Azimuth Screens. Inspired by traditional desert architecture and the tactile qualities of the fabrics, the pieces explore themes of intimacy, shelter and spatial division.

Growing demand for natural textiles
The launch reflects a wider interiors trend toward tactile, sustainable and materially honest fabrics, particularly in the premium market where designers are seeking softness, craftsmanship and understated luxury. Collections centred on linen, wool and hand-finished textures continue to gain traction as consumers favour warm, layered interiors over highly polished minimalism.
