Atlas Concorde expands ceramic ecosystem across Salone del Mobile 2026

Atlas Concorde is presenting a three-part showcase at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, using Milan Design Week to demonstrate how ceramic materials can operate across interiors, architecture and furniture through a unified concept titled One Space – The Atlas Concorde Ceramic Ecosystem.

The Italian brand's presence spans the fairgrounds at Rho, its Brera showroom, and an outdoor installation developed with partners, reflecting a strategy that positions ceramics not only as surface finishes but as integral components of contemporary living environments.

Concept Home by Lissoni & Partners
At Hall 24, Stand D38, Atlas Concorde has created a 240 sqm Concept Home designed by Lissoni & Partners. The installation targets architects, developers, contractors and interior professionals, illustrating how ceramic materials can create visual and functional continuity throughout the home.

The space includes two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, living room and outdoor setting. Collections range from wellness-focused bathroom surfaces developed with Alberto Apostoli to marble-look materials created with HBA.

Large-format slabs from Atlas Plan are used extensively in the kitchen, covering counters, walls and flooring. Atlas Concorde says the products offer resistance to heat, scratches, stains and acids, while enabling large seamless surfaces and bookmatched island designs.

Ceramics as high-performance façades
At Atlas Concorde Studio Milano in Brera, the company has partnered with One Works to present a second installation focused on 3D parametric ceramics for building envelopes.

Rather than showcasing standard catalogue products, the exhibit explores how ceramic façades can actively improve building performance by regulating light, supporting energy efficiency and enhancing durability in urban settings.

A featured example is the C70 office complex in Rome, where hexagonal porcelain tiles reinterpret the geometry of the original 1970s structure. Atlas Concorde says the shaped surfaces help reduce glare and heat load while contributing to the building's architectural identity.

Outdoor furniture integration with Talenti
The third proposal, also in Brera, is a collaboration with Talenti. The installation demonstrates how porcelain stoneware can move beyond flooring and cladding to become part of outdoor furniture itself.

Applications include tabletops, worktops, seating elements and coffee tables, combining ceramic durability with outdoor furniture design. The concept is aimed directly at furniture brands and designers exhibiting in Milan who may be seeking more resilient materials for exterior collections.

Broader market signal
Atlas Concorde's expanded Salone presence reflects a wider shift in the surfaces market: ceramics are increasingly competing not only with natural stone, wood and composites, but also entering product categories traditionally dominated by furniture materials. By presenting one material language across interiors, façades and furnishings, the company is positioning porcelain surfaces as a system rather than a standalone product category.
