Villeroy & Boch AG CEO Gabi Schupp has announced that she will step down from her role for personal reasons, effective 31 May 2026. She has been a key figure at the company since 2019, serving on the management board and becoming CEO in 2024. After stepping down, she will remain available to the company in an advisory capacity.
Supervisory Board Chairman Andreas Schmid thanked Schupp for her seven years of leadership, highlighting her strong personal commitment and central role in shaping the company's development. He particularly praised the successful integration of Ideal Standard, the largest acquisition in the company's history, which he said helped transform Villeroy & Boch into a forward-looking group.

Schupp described the past years as an intense and defining period, noting that the integration of Ideal Standard has been completed and that the company's transformation is well underway. She said the foundations for future success have been firmly established and that she is now stepping away to pursue new challenges.
Following her departure, Villeroy & Boch will adopt a more collegial management structure with a board spokesperson model. Georg Lörz, currently a board member since 2020, will take on this role after the transition. He will also oversee the Bathroom & Wellness division.
The future four-member management board will be structured around strategic priorities: Georg Lörz (Bathroom & Wellness and board spokesperson), Dr. Peter Domma (Dining & Lifestyle, digitalisation and IT), Dr. Markus Warncke (Finance), and Esther Jehle (Human Resources and organisational development, as well as operational leadership within Bathroom & Wellness).
