Connollys of Moy has opened a new Express-format store in Portadown (UK), extending the reach of its family-run business beyond its flagship base in Moy.
The retailer said the new location is designed to offer the same product quality and service associated with the main superstore, while focusing on faster delivery and greater convenience for local shoppers.

Opening day reportedly drew strong community support, with launch events including a live roadshow hosted by Cool FM and presenter Rebecca McKinney, alongside promotional giveaways and in-store refreshments.
Vivion Connolly said the response from Portadown demonstrated that the concept had been warmly welcomed and that the business looked forward to serving the area.
The new store carries furniture and home essentials from brands including La-Z-Boy, Respa and Buoyant, as well as a dedicated Sleep Studio mattress department.
The move reflects a broader retail trend toward smaller, convenience-led satellite formats that complement destination superstores. For regional independents, such expansions can widen catchment areas, improve delivery speed and strengthen brand visibility without the cost of another full-scale flagship site.
