The fashion brand Banana Republic expanded BR Home with a full range of furniture, lighting and accessories. Earlier this year the brand started their home collection with textiles.
BR Home's range is in a minimal style, using natural materials and colours, and focuses on craftsmanship and modern design. The pieces created by The Handmade Story, a South African collective working to empower people impacted by HIV, for example reflect the unique characteristics of clay and imperfect nature of handcrafted artistry. The pendants and chandeliers in the collection are made with individually hand-rolled beads.
