IKEA has confirmed that customer information was compromised following a security breach affecting parts of its systems in Denmark.

According to reports from Danish media outlet Fyens Stiftstidende, unauthorised individuals gained access to customer data including names, addresses, and telephone numbers. Lizanette Gydegaard Holm said affected customers have been contacted directly and provided with guidance and support following the incident.
The retailer added that additional security measures have been implemented to strengthen its digital systems and that the situation continues to be monitored closely.
IKEA has not disclosed the cause of the breach or the number of customers affected. Customers who received notifications have been advised to contact the company's customer service teams for further assistance.
