Screwfix has expanded its presence in France with the opening of a new store in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire, near Nantes. The launch marks the retailer's first location in Loire-Atlantique and the wider Pays de la Loire region, bringing its total French store network to 36.

Located on Route de Clisson, the 660 sqm branch follows Screwfix's counter-service model, designed to allow trade professionals to collect orders in under five minutes. The store offers access to around 15,000 products across tools, hardware, paint, plumbing, and electrical supplies.
The retailer is also offering multiple collection and delivery options, including its "Sprint" service, which promises on-site delivery within 60 minutes for approximately 9,000 products.
The opening has created around ten local jobs and forms part of the company's ongoing French expansion strategy. Since entering the market in 2022 through the Hauts-de-France region, Screwfix has progressively expanded into Normandy, Grand Est, Brittany, Centre-Val de Loire, and now western France.
