Castlery, the global furniture design brand, has been awarded with a Red Dot in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026 for the Hugg Collection and Tovi Collection. One of the world's most internationally respected design competitions, the Red Dot Award is judged by a jury of global experts and is widely regarded as a benchmark of design excellence across industries.

The Red Dot win secures a rare hat-trick, marking Castlery's third major accolade for the Hugg collection, following its success at the Good Design Award 2025 (Japan) and the iF Design Award 2026. The same iF cycle also recognised Castlery's Mori Collection and Lira Dining Chair, further validating the brand's design authority on the world stage. This continued recognition reflects the brand's core belief that great design begins with people: guided by a design philosophy of inventiveness, versatility, and craft.
"Winning recognition from the Red Dot Award: Product Design, iF Design Award, and Good Design Award juries in the same cycle is a meaningful milestone for us, and clear signal that the direction we've been taking is holding up," said Declan Ee, Castlery Co-Founder.
"The questions that drive us have always been simple: what makes something comfortable enough for everyday use, what actually lasts, and what earns its place in a home rather than just looking good on a stage."
"Our goal has been to create furniture that works as hard as the people living with it. Awards like this aren't a finish line, they are a checkpoint and a constant reminder to stay close to our core."
Designing for evolving homes
Castlery's recognition at the Red Dot Awards reflects how good design must do more than look beautiful; it must work harder for the people who live with it. As homes grow smaller and routines grow more fluid, the demand for furniture that adapts, maximises space, and serves multiple functions has never been greater. These awards affirm that Castlery's design philosophy, rooted in solving real challenges of contemporary living in compact urban apartments and flexible, ever-changing spaces, is not only relevant, but resonant. For Castlery, this recognition is less about accolades and more about validation that thoughtful, purposeful design can meaningfully improve how people live at home.
Tovi Collection, Hugg Collection
Inspired by 1970s lounge forms, the modular Tovi Collection channels the era's signature low-slung, relaxed sensibility through a sophisticated, structured lens. Its generous padding and sturdy enclosed base work together to maintain a permanent architectural silhouette that is inviting and grounded without sacrificing form.
Built for flexibility, the straight and curved modules connect via integrated alligator clips for effortless custom configurations without additional tools, while the armless design and curved segments offer a softer, more adaptable footprint than traditional boxy systems.
Designed in response to compact living, the Hugg Collection reimagines the everyday coffee table into a social anchor for modern homes. The Hugg reclaims this centerpiece through its user-focused functionality, featuring nested ottomans that slide seamlessly beneath the tabletop to maintain a clean, compact footprint while providing hidden seating or a footrest.
The Red Dot wins for Tovi and Hugg mark the latest chapter in Castlery's continued commitment to designs that are inventive, crafted and versatile and truly resonates with the way people live.
