Decocer expands Milan Design Week presence with two Fuorisalone installations

Decocer has strengthened its profile at Milan Design Week through participation in two Fuorisalone projects that present ceramics from both domestic and architectural perspectives.

The company is featured in Spanish Design as a Souvenir and the fourth edition of Appartamento Spagnolo, two showcases focused on contemporary Spanish design in Milan.

Decocer said the dual presence supports its international positioning through platforms that connect culture, design and industry.

At Università degli Studi di Milano, as part of the Interni Design Re-Generation programme, Decocer is included in Spanish Design as a Souvenir, organised by Tile of Spain and designed by CODOO Studio.

The installation presents a contemporary still life in which everyday objects are reinterpreted as design pieces. Within the project, Decocer contributes the Copenhagen ashtray, produced using elements from its Cubik White Glossy collection.

According to the company, the inclusion highlights ceramics' ability to move beyond functionality and become a culturally significant object within contemporary design narratives.

Decocer is also participating in Appartamento Spagnolo, an initiative promoted by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment through Interiors from Spain and curated by Elle Decor Italia.

Staged at Palazzo Castiglioni, the installation has been designed by Studiopepe, which selected Decocer's Atlas collection for use on a vertical surface.

The project brings together Spanish brands from the home and interiors sectors through a series of environments exploring the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Decocer stated that its presence in both exhibitions demonstrates the company's ability to contribute to complex curatorial settings, from reinterpreted everyday objects to specification-led design installations.

With the two Milan presentations, the company said it is reinforcing its commitment to author-led ceramics that extend beyond product use to become part of wider creative experiences.
