MESSE C Furniture Fair 2026 opens on Sunday 26 April for a four-day run, with organisers positioning the event as an important physical meeting point for the Nordic furniture trade.
Among this year's exhibitors is Conform, presented by Danish distributor JT Agenturer. The Swedish brand is known for upholstered seating and recliner-style armchairs that combine comfort, functionality and Scandinavian styling.

Jan Therkelsen of JT Agenturer said the fair has developed strongly from the earlier Park Fermé showroom events in Aarhus into a larger-format trade show in Fredericia, citing the venue's facilities and location as key advantages.
Physical fairs still matter
Therkelsen emphasised the continued relevance of in-person fairs for the furniture sector, particularly for products where comfort, ergonomics and material quality need to be experienced directly.
According to the exhibitor, MESSE C will be used to present new launches, finishes and functional features that are difficult to communicate digitally. Seating products remain especially dependent on physical trial, where retailers can test comfort and motion mechanisms before buying.
Scandinavian trends on display
At the show, Conform is expected to highlight designs featuring "black details" – subtle dark accents on armrests, legs and bases that create a sharper contemporary contrast within otherwise soft Scandinavian forms.
This aligns with a wider Nordic interiors trend where neutral upholstery palettes are paired with darker metal or timber detailing for a more premium visual expression.
Buying confidence in focus
The exhibitor also signalled expectations of strong attendance and active purchasing interest, with trade offers planned for visitors.
For retailers across Denmark and neighbouring markets, MESSE C Furniture Fair 2026 offers an increasingly important regional sourcing platform at a time when buyers are seeking efficient, closer-to-market procurement opportunities.
