Today marks the opening of the highly anticipated Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, once again transforming Milan into the international centre of furniture, interiors, architecture, and innovation. Running from 21 to 26 April at Fiera Milano Rho, the event welcomes thousands of exhibitors, designers, buyers, architects, retailers, and industry professionals from across the globe.

Widely regarded as the most important appointment in the global design industry, the fair continues to serve as a benchmark for trends, craftsmanship, technology, and commercial opportunity. InteriorDaily is on-site throughout the week with updates direct from Milan.
A milestone 64th edition
This year marks the 64th edition of the fair, with organisers presenting a programme that combines returning favourites, new concepts, and citywide cultural experiences. Among the headline returns are EuroCucina 2026, FTK – Technology For the Kitchen, and Salone Internazionale del Bagno.
New additions for 2026 include Salone Raritas and Salone Contract, broadening the event's reach into specialist and commercial sectors.

The fair beyond the fairgrounds
As always, the exhibition extends beyond the halls of Rho into the city itself. Through "Salone in the City", Milan hosts exhibitions, design itineraries, archives, cultural events, and installations throughout Design Week and Art Week.
One of this year's standout features is Design Kiosk 2026, returning for a third year from 17 to 26 April as a platform for publishing, public discourse, and community engagement.
Another highlight is Common Archive – La Notte Bianca del Progetto on 24 April, when historic design and architecture archives across Milan open to the public for a special evening programme.

What to expect inside the halls?
Visitors can expect launches across every major category, including kitchens, wardrobes, storage, sofas, armchairs, desks, bathroom furniture, lighting, surfaces, outdoor living, and decorative accessories.
Leading exhibitors this year include brands such as Minotti, Elica, Smeg, Talenti, Formitalia and many others presenting new collections and concepts.
