The company describes the acquisition as a significant step forward, expanding its reach and strengthening its capabilities by opening up new commercial channels. TKC's complementary expertise is expected to enhance Uform's presence across both trade and retail markets, supporting what the business calls a key strategic milestone.
By bringing together Uform's manufacturing scale, operational strength and customer focus with TKC's established capabilities, the group aims to broaden its product offering, improve flexibility for customers and create new routes to market. Uform also highlighted its intention to integrate TKC employees into the wider organisation as part of its growth strategy.
Alongside the acquisition, Uform has appointed David Adams as the new CEO to lead both businesses. Adams brings extensive senior leadership experience, with a strong track record in driving growth, operational performance and customer service.
Uform's group sales and marketing director Wes McKenna said the acquisition followed a "long and considered search" and represents a major strengthening of its kitchen and bedroom offering. TKC CEO Roy Saunders added that the deal presents a strong platform for growth and long-term stability for employees, describing it as an opportunity to build a stronger future together.
