French bedding specialist La Halle au Sommeil has strengthened its retail network with the opening of a new store in Romorantin-Lanthenay, located in the Loir-et-Cher region. The showroom, which opened on 5 March 2026, is situated adjacent to the Leclerc shopping centre, a high-footfall retail destination.

The new 380m² store represents a relocation from Châteaudun and has been fully redesigned to support a more premium positioning. Managed by Mathias and Léa, the outlet has been reconfigured to enhance product presentation and improve the overall customer experience, with a focus on accessibility and in-store comfort.
The store offers a wide range of sleep products, including mattresses featuring pocket spring, latex and memory foam technologies, alongside bed bases, headboards, bedding accessories and sofa beds. The layout encourages customers to test products in-store, reflecting the brand's emphasis on comfort-led purchasing decisions and personalised advice.
According to the management team, the service model prioritises tailored guidance based on individual sleep habits, body type and living space requirements. Additional services such as financing options and home delivery are also available.
The opening strengthens La Halle au Sommeil's presence in the region and expands its offering within a market segment described as underrepresented locally. The brand's repositioning aims to reach a broader customer base while reinforcing its focus on service-led bedding retail.
