spoga+gafa 2026 “Growing Forward”: a conceptual leap in garden lifestyle

The world's leading trade fair for garden lifestyle and BBQs, spoga+gafa, is evolving its concept for 2026 under the theme "growing forward". Scheduled from 22–24 June 2026, the revamped format aims to address shifting market dynamics, changing consumer preferences, and the evolving demands of modern trade fairs, creating a more structured, inspirational, and business-focused experience for industry professionals.

The concept has been developed in close collaboration with the garden industry, and focuses on three central pillars that have long defined spoga+gafa: Living, Creation&Care, and BBQ. Each of these will be enhanced with new features to create clearer pathways and more interactive, experience-driven areas for visitors.

One of the highlights of the 2026 edition is the introduction of Outdoor Adventure, a theme world that responds to the growing consumer interest in outdoor activities, nature, and functional leisure. This area showcases products for camping, hiking, fishing, garden sports, and games, allowing visitors to explore the intersection of everyday outdoor life, design, and lifestyle. Outdoor Adventure targets a wide audience, including retailers from the sports, outdoor, and travel sectors, as well as DIY stores, discounters, department stores, and online retailers.

Another significant addition is Object.Europe, a curated platform for premium European outdoor design. Developed in collaboration with Angelika Müller, Editor and Publishing Director of H.O.M.E. magazine, this section emphasizes sustainable production, short supply chains, fair working conditions, and innovative design. It aims to attract architects, interior designers, and decision-makers from the hospitality and property sectors, reinforcing spoga+gafa's role as a high-end, design-oriented showcase.

Flavour Market will expand the BBQ hall into an experiential area where product demonstrations meet tastings. With a focus on sauces, marinades, spices, beverages, and fresh herbs, it brings together culinary lifestyle and outdoor living, providing new cross-selling opportunities for retailers in food, beverage, and outdoor sectors.

The Garden Sourcing Hub will provide a clear overview of competitive sourcing options for high-volume or low-priced products, particularly from Asiatic exhibitors, helping buyers navigate the growing variety of offerings in the garden, BBQ, and Outdoor Adventure segments.

With enhanced hall layouts, improved visitor guidance, and interactive experiences, spoga+gafa 2026 promises a trade fair that is both inspiring and efficient. By connecting key trends with business opportunities, the event underscores its role as an international hub for garden lifestyle innovation, design, and commerce.
