Roche Bobois has unveiled a major new outdoor collection for Milan Design Week 2026, led by American designer Stephen Burks as special guest creator.
Designed for terraces, gardens and poolside settings, the launch reflects the brand's focus on comfort, craftsmanship and contemporary outdoor living.

Stephen Burks returns with Catalina
At the centre of the presentation is Catalina, a full outdoor range by Stephen Burks, marking his renewed collaboration with Roche Bobois.
The collection combines sculptural forms with practical durability, featuring marine-grade stainless steel, ceramic tabletops, weather-resistant upholstery and responsibly sourced materials. Soft curves and oversized frames define the aesthetic, while comfort remains central.
Burks described Catalina as offering "a new level of sensuous comfort" for the brand's outdoor lifestyle.
Known for blending industrial design with craft traditions, Burks has built an international reputation through collaborations that integrate weaving, basketry and handwork into contemporary production.

Missoni partnership evolves
The second pillar of the collection is Formentera, continuing Roche Bobois' partnership with Missoni.
Designed by Philippe Bouix, the modular seating line uses bold Missoni outdoor fabrics, adjustable backrests and fully removable covers. The result is a colourful, highly expressive range that brings fashion-led pattern and texture into outdoor settings.

Alongside the headline launches, Roche Bobois introduced complementary outdoor pieces including:

- KINO glazed stoneware tables by Dai Sugasawa

As outdoor spaces become true extensions of the home, Roche Bobois is positioning exterior furniture with the same design ambition as interiors.
