French contemporary furniture brand Story has opened its 47th store, its third in 2025, in Bordeaux-Lac, a prime retail area in the Gironde metropolitan region. The expansion is part of a strategic partnership with the Bayle Group, a key player in the southwest French furniture market, known for brands like But, Poltronesofà, and Mobilier de France.
This new 380 m² showroom features Story's premium design identity, integrating digital tools such as 3D planning and immersive tablets. The store is operated by a three-person team under close supervision from Bayle's Sales Director, Jérémy Batocchio.
This partnership marks Story's first entry into the Bayle Group's portfolio and supports both companies' strategic goals, combining Story's digital, high-end positioning with Bayle's regional expertise and retail strength. With a target of 3–5 new stores annually, this Bordeaux opening signals further potential growth in the southwest region, leveraging Bayle's strong local presence.
