At Milan Design Week 2026, Italian wood flooring brand Listone Giordano presented four new additions to its Natural Genius collection, alongside an interactive artistic installation exploring the relationship between architecture, materiality and temporary construction.
Presented across both Salone del Mobile and the brand's Arena showroom during the Fuorisalone programme, the showcase brought together Italian and international designers including Pietro Olioso, Emanuel Gargano, Patrick Jouin and Piet Boon.

Supernova explores light and geometry
Among the new launches was Supernova, designed by Pietro Olioso, which combines geometric parquet layouts with the reflective qualities of wood grain to create shifting visual compositions.
Built from a single concave and convex module capable of rotating and interlocking into multiple configurations, the flooring design was conceived as an architectural landscape that changes according to light and perspective.
According to Olioso, the project was inspired by the emotional qualities of natural landscapes and the experience of observing constellations in the sky.
Fibonacci-inspired surfaces by Emanuel Gargano
Designer Emanuel Gargano introduced Phibon, a collection rooted in the mathematical principles of the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio.
The flooring system uses progressively expanding lines to create a sense of continuous movement throughout the space, while the palette, Dune, Sand, Basalt and Tar — reinforces the connection to natural materials and organic environments.
The project combines mathematical precision with the tactile warmth of cork powder, exploring how spatial harmony can influence wellbeing.

Patrick Jouin focuses on texture and movement
French designer Patrick Jouin presented Trame, a collection centred around visual rhythm and tactile interaction.
Fine surface incisions carved into oak flooring create a subtle sense of movement across the material, while colours including Fleur de sel, Grigio Minerale and Cuoio emphasise the natural characteristics of the wood.
Jouin described the flooring as a surface where graphic interventions transform wood into a dynamic sensory experience rather than a static material.
Piet Boon reinterprets Renaissance architecture
Dutch designer Piet Boon introduced Opera Aperta, inspired by the forms and proportions of Italian Renaissance architecture.
Drawing references from historical façades, arches and monumental structures, the collection translates architectural rhythm into flowing wooden compositions defined by curves and diverging lines.
The flooring is available in Rovere finishes including Montblanc, Biancospino and Tortora, designed to combine classical inspiration with contemporary interior environments.

Interactive installation explores temporary architecture
Alongside the product launches, Listone Giordano also presented Build Un-build, an interactive installation created in collaboration with artist Raffaele Salvoldi and curated by Seed Festival.
Hosted at the Arena Listone Giordano showroom in Milan, the installation invited visitors to construct and deconstruct temporary structures using 200 oak building elements, encouraging reflection on sustainability, architecture and material reuse.
Participants were given thirty minutes to create their own temporary compositions, transforming the act of construction into a collaborative and experimental process.
The installation also featured ephemeral sculptures by Salvoldi, designed to be dismantled as part of the artistic experience, reinforcing themes of impermanence and adaptive design.
A long-standing focus on innovation and craftsmanship
Founded within the Margaritelli Group, Listone Giordano continues to position itself at the intersection of craftsmanship, technology and contemporary design.
The company currently operates across more than 30 countries through a retail network of approximately 650 points of sale and produces more than two million square metres of wood flooring annually.
