Anderson Tuftex highlights flooring trends ahead of Home Improvement Month

Anderson Tuftex is spotlighting flooring as a key driver of home renovation projects ahead of National Home Improvement Month in May, as consumer spending on residential upgrades in the United States is projected to reach $509 billion in 2025.

The brand said homeowners are increasingly focusing on design-led improvements that deliver long-term value, with flooring playing a central role in shaping both aesthetics and functionality.

According to the company, flooring remains the foundation of the home, influencing how materials, texture and colour come together within an interior scheme. Bailey Walton, the brand's design expert and vice president, is available to discuss renovation trends and the growing importance of selecting the right flooring solution early in the design process.

Known for premium hardwood and high-end carpet, Anderson Tuftex offers a portfolio centred on timeless styling and elevated craftsmanship.

Among its latest introductions is the Modern Artisan carpet collection, positioned for spring renovation projects. The range uses layered colours, striated yarns and an overdye technique to create added depth and visual texture. Available in five tones, the collection is suitable for wall-to-wall installation, custom rugs or statement stair runners.

The company said the product is sustainably made and designed to add dimension and personality to remodelled spaces.

Other carpet collections include Heirloom, handcrafted using traditional techniques and inspired by cultural heritage, and Rooted, a range informed by biomimicry with plush textures and patterns intended to bring nature indoors.

In hardwood, Anderson Tuftex is also promoting Artisan Oak, a white oak plank collection featuring hand-hewn textures, worn edges and the look of naturally aged patina. Produced in 7.5-inch-wide planks with an oil finish, the range is offered in five colours inspired by heirloom materials.

Valencia Walnut forms part of the latest hardwood offer, combining smooth textures, tonal variation and reactive stains that highlight the wood's natural movement. The collection is available in six muted shades.

The focus on flooring reflects broader shifts in the renovation market, where consumers are prioritising materials that combine durability, comfort and design value.

For the interiors trade, the category remains one of the most influential elements in residential upgrades, often setting the visual tone for the rest of the scheme.

With Home Improvement Month approaching, Anderson Tuftex is positioning flooring as one of the most effective ways for homeowners to refresh interiors through texture, warmth and lasting style.
