Designer Yves Behar, founder of Fuseproject, will present Peaks, a modular seating system developed in collaboration with Dutch brand Moooi, during Milan Design Week 2026.
The project will make its commercial debut as part of Moooi's 25th anniversary programme, introducing a flexible seating concept that reinterprets the sofa as a sculptural, reconfigurable landscape.

Inspired by alpine topography, Peaks is composed of triangular modules that can be rotated and repositioned to form backrests, seating platforms and armrests. This system allows users to adapt the configuration for different uses, from informal lounging to more structured social arrangements.
The design emphasises both form and functionality, combining a low-profile structure with dual-density foam to balance support and comfort. The modular approach also enables a range of spatial compositions, encouraging interaction and proximity in both residential and hospitality settings.
Material flexibility is a key component of the system, with the collection available in a variety of textile finishes to suit different interior contexts. This adaptability aligns with broader trends towards multifunctional and customisable furniture solutions.
Peaks will be exhibited at Superstudio Più in Milan's Tortona district, where it forms part of a wider programme of events and installations marking Moooi's anniversary milestone.
Through this collaboration, Behar and Moooi explore new possibilities for modular seating, combining sculptural design with adaptability to respond to evolving living and social environments.
