Karim Rashid and Loope present circular furniture collection at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026

Polish brand Loope will unveil a new furniture collection designed in collaboration with Karim Rashid at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, marking the brand's return to Milan following its debut at last year's edition.

The collection will be officially presented on 22 April at Loope's stand in Hall 22 (B23), introducing a series of designs developed around the principles of circular design. The collaboration reflects a shared focus on rethinking the lifecycle of furniture through a closed-loop production model, where materials remain in continuous circulation.

Building on its earlier presentation, Loope continues to explore sustainability as a central design driver. The partnership with Rashid extends this approach through a series of objects that combine the designer's recognisable organic forms with the brand's material-driven philosophy.

The collection comprises three lines: ANIMA, RISE and SWAY. Including chairs, sunbeds, tables and planters. Each piece is conceived at the intersection of furniture and sculpture, balancing functional use with an expressive formal language. Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, the objects are intended for use across residential and public environments.

All pieces are manufactured from UV-stabilised polyethylene, a durable material selected for its resistance to weathering and its ability to be reprocessed multiple times. This enables the products to be reintegrated into production at the end of their use phase, supporting a system in which form evolves while material remains constant.

According to the brand, the approach addresses ongoing industry challenges such as overproduction and material waste, positioning circularity as both a design and manufacturing strategy. Returned products can be transformed into new objects, extending their lifecycle beyond a single use.

The presentation will also include a stand designed by Naboo Studio, conceived as an extension of the collection's circular philosophy. The installation uses colour and spatial design to communicate the concept of material continuity while offering an interactive environment for visitors.

Karim Rashid will be present at the stand on 22 April from 14:00 to 16:00, where he will discuss the collaboration and the ideas underpinning the collection.
