Søstrene Grene plans to open three new Scottish stores

Danish home goods chain Søstrene Grene plans to open three additional stores in Scotland, expanding its reach to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Glasgow later this year. With over 285 stores worldwide, Søstrene Grene is on track to achieve its goal of opening 500 stores globally by 2027.

The popular chain's management aims to create a comforting atmosphere in its stores, aligning with the Danish concept of 'hygge'. 'Hygge' is a Danish concept of cosiness, specifically relating to one's home.

The new Scottish locations will feature the brand's innovative 'Retail for the Senses' model, offering customers a unique shopping experience in a relaxing environment, characterised by a labyrinth-style layout, soft lighting, and classical music.

The management team behind Søstrene Grene have emphasized the brand's commitment to providing customers to the soon-to-be-launched Scottish stores with quality products and a 'hygge'-filled shopping experience.
