The new locations, situated in Amsterdam (Van Bleiswijkstraat), Leek, Veendam and Zierikzee, opened on the same day, marking a coordinated expansion milestone for the retailer. The openings bring JYSK's total store count in the Netherlands to 110, with further sites planned in Meppel and Barneveld in the coming months.
According to Country Director Frank Christant, the expansion reflects sustained customer demand and the brand's long-term commitment to the region. The company is targeting a total of 140 stores in the Netherlands, underlining an ongoing investment strategy focused on physical retail growth.
The move highlights JYSK's continued rollout of its scalable store model across Europe, even as the furniture and interiors sector faces economic uncertainty and shifting consumer behaviour. By maintaining a steady pace of expansion, the retailer is positioning itself to capture market share and reinforce its presence in key regional markets.
