During the Home Show days on 13, 14 and 15 April, several furniture companies in the Land van Maas en Waal in The Netherlands are once again joining forces, namely Het Anker, Releazz, DS Meubel and Easysofa. Visitors can visit several showrooms to view the latest collections, a format that participants say works well.

Easysofa: lower price range and international growth
At Easysofa, the focus is on accessibility and innovation. With eight new models in a lower price range, the brand is responding to growing demand for affordable designer sofas. The spring collection is characterised by lighter colours that match the season. Dining chair collections have also been added.
According to Joost Rutten, the mood is positive: "The house show is well attended and the delivery of orders, such as the new Boogie, a collaboration with Eva van de Ven, has now started."
Besides the Benelux, its main sales market, Easysofa is increasingly focusing on international growth. "We are also targeting Scandinavia and France, where we are currently building a network." In that context, the company's participation in Messe C in Denmark, among others, marks a new step into the Scandinavian market. Participation in the Maison & Objet fair in Paris last January was also seen as very positive.
Finally, the team is looking ahead to international design developments. "Next week, we are going to Milan for inspiration, with a view to new introductions in September," the company says.

DS Meubel & Chill Line: luxury, comfort and design freedom
DS Meubel and Chill Line are strongly committed to innovation in comfort and design. New models stand out with swivel arms, tiltable lift-up functions and a wider choice of fabrics and patterns. According to the team, customers are increasingly looking for a more luxurious look, which translates into richer materials and finishes. With an eye for detail, DS Meubel develops designs that are not only stylish but also invite relaxed living. "With a wide choice of materials, fabrics and finishes, we create furniture that perfectly matches any living style."
With production based in the Netherlands, DS Meubel offers flexibility, speed, seating comfort and strong service.

Het Anker: focus on price pressure and warm tones
At furniture company Het Anker, there is a strong build-up during the Home Show days. According to Jeffrey Koster, the showroom is filling up well with interested visitors, although he remains realistic about current market conditions. "While the Benelux is still performing reasonably well, Germany has completely collapsed. That is an important export market for us. Normally we also see many German customers here during the Home Show days, but this time the number of registrations from that country is limited."

Het Anker's showroom was well and crowded on Monday 13 April.
Despite this international downturn, the Dutch market remains fairly stable and Het Anker presents a strong collection. At the same time, price developments remain a key focus. "Within a few weeks to months, we are likely to face price increases. Fuel is needed for both logistics and production and, in addition, metal and foam prices have risen sharply. The question is when to pass these on to the customer."
In terms of design, clear shifts are visible. Lighter shades are giving way to a warmer palette, with shades of brown dominating, from mocha to deep chocolate. Organic shapes remain as popular as ever and continue to form the basis of many new designs.

Aventura experiments with new structures, colour gradients and height differences in their carpet collection.
Aventura: innovation in carpets and materials
Aventura presents a wide range of new carpets during the Home Show days, with a focus on innovation and customisation. There is plenty of experimentation with structures, colour gradients and height differences, resulting in distinctive designs. Customisation is at the heart of the proposition: if something is not in the collection, it can simply be made.
According to Bart Mol, the possibilities are virtually unlimited. "We receive a wide variety of requests for specific shapes, but we can make anything, nothing is too crazy."
At the same time, cost control plays an important role in operations. Rising transport costs and raw material prices are directly affecting the market. In particular, the production of polyester yarns, which is closely linked to oil prices, creates additional pressure. Aventura is trying to absorb these developments as best it can and limit price increases wherever possible.

Releazz: expansion and complementarity
Releazz has now been established in the Het Anker showroom for five years and, according to Bas Janssens, shows that collaboration can work well without competing with each other.
The collection has continued to expand in recent years. Where the brand once started with straight sofas, the range now also includes corner sofas. There is also a strong focus on electric recliners, responding to growing demand for comfort and ease of use. A completely new modern line can be seen in the showroom, available in all sizes and with many of the options Releazz has to offer.
With this expansion, Releazz is explicitly focusing on multifunctional seating solutions, where functionality and comfort are increasingly central.
The showrooms can be visited today in Druten and Beneden-Leeuwen in the Netherlands.
