Feltouch's Modular Lighting collection, designed by renowned designer Boris Berlin, has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2025 in the Lighting category.

The award ceremony took place at the iconic Aalto Theater in Essen, Germany. Representing Feltouch on stage were Necmi Çıran, Marketing and Human Resources Coordinator, and Cem Özuğur, Business Development Manager.
Following the ceremony, the winning designs were unveiled at the traditional Designers' Night and are now on display at the Red Dot Design Museum, where the Modular Lighting collection will be exhibited for one year.
'With this collection, we brought together acoustic performance, modularity, and material simplicity under a unified design language,' said Necmi Çıran.
'Collaborating with Boris Berlin gave us the opportunity to blend these values with an international design vision. It is deeply meaningful to see this approach recognised by the Red Dot jury.'

Feltouch's journey in design excellence
Feltouch's previous success includes winning the Red Dot: Best of the Best award in 2023 with the Flux collection, designed by Yiğit Özer. In 2025, the company elevated this achievement by collaborating with Boris Berlin on the Modular Lighting collection and receiving two major international awards in the same year: the Red Dot Design Award and the iF DESIGN AWARD, both in the Lighting category.
About Modular Lighting Collection
The Modular Lighting collection stands out with its emphasis on acoustic comfort, modular configuration, and sustainable material use. Made with 50 percent recycled PET felt, the collection offers both lighting and sound absorption, presenting a unique combination of functionality and aesthetics.
The system consists of two modules, STEP, which features a stepped conical shape, and SEGMENT, characterised by a smooth dome-like silhouette. With 53 different color options and a flexible modular structure, Modular Lighting is designed to adapt to a wide range of spaces, from office environments to social and public areas.
