Danish lighting manufacturer Le Klint has reported a profit of DKK 2.1 million after tax for the 2024/25 financial year, up from DKK 1.2 million the previous year. The company's management described the result as satisfactory and in line with expectations, despite a market characterised by frugal consumer spending.

Retail sales have remained subdued, reflecting changing consumer habits, while the contract market has performed more positively. Gross profit increased to DKK 29.8 million, compared with DKK 28 million in 2023, and the company's liquidity strengthened, with cash balances approaching DKK 14 million. Equity rose to DKK 50.4 million, and a dividend of DKK 600,000 is proposed, up from DKK 400,000 the previous year.
Headquartered in Odense, Le Klint employs around 45 staff and is renowned for its hand-folded lampshades. Its products are sold through both Home and Pro collections to private clients and the contract market, with a particular focus on the Nordic region and selected export countries.
Founded in the early 1900s by architect P.V. Jensen-Klint, the company continues to develop new products despite uncertain market conditions. Management anticipates that global instability and political unrest will limit growth, projecting a stable or slightly lower level of activity in the coming year.
