G. Wurm acquires German decoration company to continue legacy

International wholesale company G. Wurm has acquired an insolvent German decoration compnay, who is traditionally known for its finely crafted Christmas tree decorations and seasonal items. This acquisition is part of G. Wurm's strategy to expand its product portfolio and secure the future of the historic brand.

Following the insolvency of Riffelmacher & Weinberger, an agreement was made with insolvency administrator Daniel Barth of Pluta Rechtsanwalts GmbH to ensure the brand's continuation. G. Wurm has acquired the full product range and inventory of Riffelmacher & Weinberger, which will now be available through G. Wurm's online shop. The brand's products will remain unchanged, and orders and deliveries will continue seamlessly for B2B customers, with unavailable items available for reorder upon request.

Philip Wurm, Managing Director of G. Wurm, expressed appreciation for the brand's history, stating: 'With great appreciation for the history and product range of Riffelmacher & Weinberger, we are integrating the products into our portfolio. Our goal is to preserve the brand's distinctive signature while simultaneously setting new impulses for the future.' The goal is to maintain the brand's legacy while introducing new developments moving forward.

Founded in 1921 in Roth near Nuremberg, Riffelmacher & Weinberger has been a symbol of high-quality Christmas decorations for over a century. Through this acquisition, G. Wurm aims to carry on the success of Riffelmacher & Weinberger for years to come.
