A Kent-based upcycled furniture brand has announced it will close its doors following the launch of a final closing down sale.
The Eccentric Leopard operates from within Necessary Furniture, a charitable organisation that supports reuse and recycling of homewares for those in need. The Eccentric Leopard has offered bespoke, upcycled pieces since October 2021.
Founder Kylie Hodge shared that the closure follows her recent appointment as General Manager of Necessary Furniture, marking a new chapter in her journey.
'On 25th October 2021, I posted as The Eccentric Leopard for the first time, not knowing what was ahead – just that change was coming,' said Hodge in a statement. 'Nearly four years later, what a ride it's been… Now, a new chapter begins – I'm proud to say I've just been appointed General Manager of Necessary Furniture!'
She added a heartfelt thank you to customers and supporters: 'The Eccentric Leopard is ending, but a new journey begins. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every bit of support.'
The store will remain open until all remaining stock is sold.
