Yuqiantang, a top Chinese brand specialising in high-end mahogany furniture, integrates traditional craftsmanship with modern design to create products that appeal to contemporary tastes. The company has patented over 100 inventions and designs, showcasing a blend of tradition and modernity in its furniture.
Amid global economic challenges and fluctuating demand, Ma stressed that maintaining high quality and environmentally responsible practices is crucial for the industry. Yuqiantang has implemented stringent quality control measures, including the development of a standard for premium Siamese rosewood furniture and the introduction of an intelligent anti-counterfeiting system. This system assigns a unique ID to each product, allowing consumers to verify quality through QR codes.
As consumer awareness of eco-friendly products grows, Ma underscores the responsibility of the industry to use forest resources sustainably. She advocates for practices like selective logging to preserve the ecological environment, positioning the Chinese wooden furniture industry to lead globally in both quality and sustainability.
