Custom interior design specialist Archea has opened a new 65 m² store in the heart of Angers, strengthening its presence in France's city-centre retail landscape.
Located on Rue des Lices, the new showroom officially opened on 25 March 2026 and is operated by franchisee Christophe Lanoës, who joins the brand following a career change from the industrial foam sector. The opening reflects Archea's continued strategy of attracting experienced professionals into its franchise network, supported by structured training and head office guidance.

Lanoës brings nearly three decades of industry experience, including senior roles in foam manufacturing and design office leadership. To prepare for his new role, he completed a seven-week training programme at Archea's production and training facility in Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe, covering design, sales, marketing and business management.
The Angers store is positioned in a high-footfall retail area and targets homeowners and higher-income urban customers seeking bespoke storage and interior layout solutions. Archea expects the location to generate approximately €300,000 in turnover during its first year of operation.
The opening also forms part of a gradual team-building strategy, with the recruitment of a cabinetmaker already completed and plans underway to appoint an additional designer in the coming year.
Founded in 1984, Archea currently operates around 65 stores across France and specialises in tailored interior design solutions, with a strong focus on custom storage and spatial optimisation for residential clients.
