A look inside a 'colourful Scandinavian' home with Tonone

Amber Letanche, her husband Joris and their two children, Bo and Morris recently watched as their charming 1930s home in Gouda was transformed into a dream home, through the use of Tonone design pieces. They have described the striking decor as 'colourful Scandinavian' - the interiors they envisaged when they first moved into their house seven years ago.

Amber says in a 'home tour' article on the Tonone site that she had wanted a home they could grow old in without ever feeling the need to leave.

Their journey towards creating their dream home began with a recent major renovation project, which involved revamping the home's first floor and the second-floor bathroom. For this transformation, their design concept made use of white walls providing a serene backdrop, allowing ample space for the infusion of vibrant colours.

The couple was drawn to Tonone's playful array of colours, likening them to candy that complements various design styles effortlessly. Their home showcases a harmonious blend of hues, with the front façade adorned in a serene gray-blue, the kitchen adorned with playful pink tiles, and pistachio green built-in cabinets adding a touch of freshness.

Then there's the Tonone lamp, which for Amber is the pièce de résistance of the ensemble. This design piece is in a striking orange, which perfectly punctuates the overall aesthetic. For her, this lamp adds a pop of colour to the evolving dream home.
