Ethnicraft is "growing roots" for spring

With every launch, our collection and the Belgian brand Ethnicraft's design language expands. 'This year, we are excited to grow our roots, presenting extensions of our favourite collections. By "growing roots," we emphasise the idea of being grounded where you are, creating cosy, foundational spaces in which to feel planted, rooted — a place to grow. In our lives, we all find new ways to grow, in our careers, self-confidence, families and so on. We take great pride in knowing our furniture provides the space for our customers to grow,' they explain.

This campaign introduces a new addition to their Polished Imperfect collection. 'The PI chair is more than a functional object — it is an ode to nature's design, by keeping the strength, curves and lines, as nature intended.' The PI chair will be showcased at Salone del Mobile in Milan and available in fall 2024.

The PI dining chair, with armrests and without, further complements the wider PI collection with its nature-inspired design.

About the designer
For Alain van Havre, inspiration is everything. Deeply connected to his environment and passionate about natural materials, he has developed an exceptional expertise for woodworking. Over the years, he has created his own visual language centred around form, a translation best described in collections such as the PI. He believes that for someone to connect with a design, it is important to bring it closer to nature. Over the past 20 years, Alain has played a pivotal role in influencing the Ethnicraft designs we know and love today.

About Ethnicraft
Established in Antwerp more than 25 years ago by two friends, Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse, Ethnicraft quickly found its identity. Today we continue to broaden our creative palette, developing and extending a collection that remains true to our core. Centred around aspects of quality and warm materials, alongside form and function, we create collections for every room or space: from the furniture that defines the purpose of an area to the accessories that layer it with meaning.
