Dutch King of Kickboxing reveals first images of his new-build villa

Kickboxer Rico Verhoeven (36) on Wednesday shared the first images of his future home designed by Marco van Veldhuizen, a well-known name in the architectural world. Although construction is yet to start, the 3D impressions already give an impression of a modern, white villa with clean lines, a sprawling garden, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. "Another dream comes true... Building a house!" writes Rico Verhoeven enthusiastically on social media.

Verhoeven and his fiancée Naomy van Beem announced they had bought a plot in 2024 and were already discussing their plans with an architect at the time. "We can't wait to see the first impression of all the ideas we've been talking about," he revealed at the time. That moment has now arrived, with Verhoeven showing off his design to his 2.2 million followers.

The design is minimalist and sleek, with plenty of greenery surrounding the property. Although the interior has not yet been released, the visualisation already gives an impression of the luxurious atmosphere Verhoeven envisages. The swimming pool and jacuzzi in the garden are prominent eye-catchers.

Besides the construction of their dream home, another important moment is planned: Verhoeven and Van Beem's wedding. In July 2024, he asked her to marry him. "I had really planned everything and hoped it would turn out a certain way. But wow, this was magical," Verhoeven said. He was previously in a 13-year relationship with Jacky Duchenne, with whom he has three children.
