Michael Jordan fans can now "live like a legend" in his former Chicago mansion

Michael Jordan's former mansion in Highland Park, Illinois, has been listed on Airbnb, offering fans the rare opportunity to "live like a legend." The sprawling estate, once owned by the NBA icon, was sold in December 2023 for $9.5 million to real estate investor John Cooper, who is now offering it as a short-term rental.

The home, which accommodates up to 12 guests, has a seven-night minimum stay costing over $100,000. A week in August is priced at $105,514, while a stay over the Labour Day weekend rises to $120,920. The mansion features seven bedrooms, 17.5 bathrooms, and Jordan's iconic No. 23 on the front gate.

Amenities include an indoor basketball court, infinity pool, movie theatre, wine cellar, putting green, gym, cigar lounge, salon, and aquariums. The 7.39-acre property was designed with "privacy, security, and luxury in mind."

Cooper stated he is "still considering many different uses" for the estate but is currently using rentals to "bring exposure to the property and generate some revenue."

Jordan, largely out of the public eye since retiring in 2003, will return next season as a "special contributor" for NBC and Peacock's NBA coverage.
