Dutch Interior is facilitating a promising new start for Rivièra Maison. This gives the leading Dutch lifestyle brand a new future under the banner of an established player in the home furnishings industry. A brand with a history.
Founded in 1948, Rivièra Maison has grown from a small flower shop in Amsterdam into an international lifestyle brand with its own distinctive signature. The brand is known for its warm, timeless collections and unique atmosphere, where every product tells a story. With dozens of brand stores, a strong (inter)national dealer network, and a loyal customer base, Rivièra Maison has become an indispensable part of the Dutch and international interior design landscape.

Part of a strong family of brands.
With the addition of Rivièra Maison, Dutch Interior strengthens its position as a leading player in the home furnishings industry. The group includes established brands such as Eleonora, By-Boo, Sevn, Urban Cotton, and Isaa. Each brand has its own distinct identity but shares a passion for design, quality, and experience.

Focus on dealers and partners.
In the new setup, Dutch Interior will fully focus on strengthening the brand through its (inter)national dealer network. A conscious decision was made not to continue with Rivièra Maison's own stores. 'Our focus is on collaborating with independent retail partners, both domestically and internationally. That's where we can add value and position the brand sustainably,' says Schakel.

Restoring deliveries:
The top priority is to be able to supply both national and international dealers as quickly as possible. 'We understand that there has been uncertainty recently. We are doing everything we can to get the supply chain up and running again and to supply our partners with inventory quickly and reliably. The first steps in that direction have already been taken,' says Schakel.

The successful restart was made possible in part by the decisive action of trustee Erik Schuurs and his team, and financier ABN AMRO. 'We are very grateful for the professional and decisive support. Thanks to their quick and effective action, valuable time was saved, and that made this restart possible.'

With this relaunch, Dutch Interior is not only shaping the future of a unique brand, but also fulfilling the promise of trust, quality, and continuity to partners worldwide, according to the management.
