Maisons du Monde has launched a new store concept tailored to shopping centre customers, debuting in Montpellier.
Designed to enhance the shopping experience, the concept focuses on curated product selections that cater to customer needs, offering affordable options for gifting or personal indulgence. A revamped store layout features simplified pathways, engaging displays, and appealing architecture to surprise and delight shoppers at every turn. Lastly, knowledgeable sales advisors providing personalised guidance and expertise throughout the customer journey.
This approach aims to create a seamless and engaging shopping experience, blending convenience with relational and service elements to spark customer enthusiasm.
The Montpellier store marks the first implementation of this design, developed in collaboration with Lonsdale Design. It represents a significant step in Maisons du Monde's 'Inspire Everyday' strategy, which seeks to modernise and expand its retail footprint.
Over the past six months, the brand has refreshed 50 stores in retail zones and is targeting an increase to 400 stores by 2026, up from 336 in 2024.
