This year, Roche Bobois celebrates its 20-year presence in China. To mark this occasion, Roche Bobois partnered with Fosun Foundation – a prestigious contemporary art centre in Shanghai – to organise an unforgettable event made up of several highlights.
A retrospective titled "Time Journey" looked back on multiple decades of French art de vivre. Iconic Roche Bobois pieces featured as protagonists in surprising settings. The Bamboo Mood collection by Franco-Chinese designer Jiang Qiong Er was also previewed.
A panel discussion gathering artist Jiang Qiong Er, designer Sacha Lakic and Qingyun Ma, a renowned architect in China, explored the theme of "Nature connecting East and West" in front of an audience of architects, designers and journalists.
Lastly, a gala evening was held on the Fosun Foundation's rooftop. This was an opportunity for the various guests – including leading diplomats, architects and designers – to discover the "Time Journey" retrospective and take in the spectacular view of the Shanghai skyline.
