Trends Up West will be held as a year round edition for the first time

That familiar thrill in the consumer goods industry is returning. From June 29 to July 1, it's time for Trends Up West, which for the first time in its history will be held as a year-round edition. The signs point to a positive trade fair experience in Düsseldorf: the number of exhibitors and visitor pre-registrations are at record levels, and the early summer and unique atmosphere at Areal Böhler will make Trends Up West 2024 a special experience for everyone.

"After the long break, we are very pleased that Trends Up West is making a mark in the West again. The feedback is very positive, and we feel that we will all experience an inspiring and energetic event together," explains Willo Blome (blomus), who is organising Trends Up West together with Florian Burghard (Sompex) and Marco Hübecker (fleur ami).

240 brands from all consumer goods segments will ensure that trade visitors have a wealth of options over the three exhibition days, in two halls on one of the most beautiful exhibition grounds in Europe. The work-life balance is what makes the difference at Trends Up West. The organisers are continuing this path consistently this year – for example with Saturday+. On Saturday, June 29, Trends Up West will remain open until the evening for busy retailers who can only come later. Visitors have until 8 PM to attend the event. Afterwards, exhibitors and guests can enjoy the evening together until 11 PM.

"Trends Up West was launched during the pandemic to keep networking in the West alive. Now, with the sixth edition, the next stage of evolution is here. Trends Up West has grown up without losing its pioneering status as a boutique fair," says Florian Burghard (Sompex).

For retailers, the new early summer date provides an opportunity to start planning assortments for 2025. The 240 brands from the areas of lifestyle, accessories, cookware, tableware, candles, lighting, home textiles, stationery, gifts, toys, small appliances, fashion, and food are relevant and trendy for various retail formats, and also strikingly international. In addition to exhibitors from Germany, companies from Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria, and Latvia will be present. This means international trends can be discovered in Düsseldorf – with many products that have not yet been seen on the German market. The exhibitor catalogue is available online at: trendsupwest.com

Trends Up West also strongly supports the industry's newcomers – startups and smaller brands. On smaller exhibition areas, newcomers can also participate in Trends Up West, contributing to an exciting diversity overall.

The high quality of the exhibitor line-up has already spread, as the number of pre-sold visitor tickets has never been so large. The early-bird discount is still valid until June 14, 2024, so in the ticket shop, the entire visitor package can be obtained for just 10 euros – including admission for the entire duration of the event, all-day premium catering, a range of coffee specialties, access to the infused water stations, and free parking. After June 14, the visitor ticket will cost 20 euros.

"We can't wait for it to finally start. We can only advise everyone to visit the first year-round edition of Trends Up West. What could be better than preparing business for the coming year in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere," says Marco Hübecker (fleur ami).
