Giovanardi returned to Milan recently, to the 62nd edition of the Salone titled, 'Where design evolves', an international appointment for professionals in the furniture and design sectors. This presented the company with the opportunity to present its new textile collections Raytent Living, Raytent Drapery and Irisun Living for the indoor and outdoor that is realised through a fluid layout in which the interior and exterior are mixed.
Giovanardi's textile collections were shown through a set-up which took the form of a geometric space defined by natural earth tones such as beige and sand - a neutral palette that allowed the products, presented in harmonious shades, to stand out. In order to pursue the sustainable philosophy that has always guided the company, a number of sustainable and recyclable architectural components were made for the stand structure. With a view to environmental commitment, materials were also selected that allow the stand to be disassembled and reused, or disposed of properly by differentiating the different parts.
Embellishing the setting were Silene armchairs, design Angeletti Ruzza Design, and Seia lamps; and design Maurizio Bernabei in Raytent Rope, from Bottega Intreccio's original collection.
The setting was completed with the Milli sofa, Angeletti Ruzza Design, made of Raytent Living fabric. Raytent is the recycled acrylic yarn made from the waste of awning processing, through a combined process in which reuse is combined with craftsmanship, generating furnishing complements that are always different and of unique value.
Another setting featured the seat and pouf from Mamagreen's Munia collection. The wide and welcoming support structure was combined with upholstery covered in Irisun Living fabric. On an elevated platform was the iconic Telami Regista chair made of Raytent Living fabric, testifying to an established partnership that also contemplates the famous Tripoline deckchairs.
