The UK outdoor furniture manufacturer Akula Living reported a significant increase in sales and profits for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023. Total sales surged by 39.7% to £21.1 million compared to £15.1 million in 2022, while pre-tax profit rose by 160% to £6 million from £2.3 million in the previous year. The company attributed its success to expansion efforts, particularly in the cruise sector, and sustained growth among its blue-chip clientele worldwide. Akula Living was also recognized with the King's Award for Enterprise: International Trade in 2023. Looking ahead, Akula plans to expand its UK head office and establish new sales offices in Hong Kong and Dubai to enhance customer service capabilities and accommodate future growth.
