A strong performance in 2023 and ambitious 2024 plans

French FBD Group wants to expand in Spain and Latin America

In the face of economic and social challenges throughout 2023, the FBD Group, comprising renowned brands such as Ixina, Cuisine Plus, Cuisines Références, and Vanden Borre Kitchen, demonstrated resilience and growth, achieving a turnover of €834 million. Despite a 10% decline in the fitted kitchen sector, the company managed to navigate the turbulent landscape, emphasising strategic investments and expansion initiatives.

Throughout the year, FBD Group embarked on a path of continued development, opening 43 new stores, including a dozen outside of France, and bolstering its workforce with the addition of 63 new employees. The company's commitment to innovation was evident through the deployment of new digital tools, such as an extranet for Ixina and revamped websites for Cuisines Références and Vanden Borre Kitchen. Furthermore, the introduction of the living range, designed to seamlessly complement kitchen layouts, garnered positive feedback from consumers.

Looking ahead to 2024, FBD Group has unveiled ambitious plans for further growth and expansion. The company aims to establish new stores both domestically and internationally, including the launch of a new Ixina business unit in Spain. Additionally, FBD Group intends to strengthen its presence in Latin America and enhance its international training programs through the FBD Academy.

In parallel, FBD Group is committed to advancing its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Following an audit conducted in 2023 and the establishment of an CSR committee, the company has developed a comprehensive action plan focused on promoting CSR culture internally and integrating it into decision-making processes.
