Belysse announces the appointment of James Neuling as CEO of the Belysse Group effective March 1, 2024, succeeding Cyrille Ragoucy. Neuling will concurrently continue his role as MD Europe. Ragoucy will continue to support the organization in his capacity as a member and chairman of the Belysse Group Board of Directors and as an advisor to the management.
The Board of Directors stated: 'After a year of dedication within our organisation, James has demonstrated his leadership qualities and his deep understanding of Belysse's values and objectives. His international background and strengths in sales and marketing will aid Belysse in further developing its operations. James will remain focused on profitability, sustainability, growth through innovation, production optimization, and more flexible digital solutions. The Board of Directors is confident that James, along with the executive team, Jay Brown (President US) and Andy Rogiest (Group CFO), will lead Belysse into a new phase. Thanks to Cyrille's ongoing support and guidance as chairman of the Board of Directors, the organization can continue to rely on his vast experience.'

James Neuling's Experience
James Neuling joined Belysse in October 2022 as Managing Director Europe. He is a skilled and dynamic director with extensive experience across multiple industries where he has held management positions. He began his career in Southeast Asia in the lighting sector, where he advanced to Regional Manager for Zumtobel before moving to Europe to complete his MBA.
Neuling then joined GE Plastics in a commercial management role and led the revival of GE's European operations in the sheets and films sector. He subsequently reorganised and coordinated two divestitures at Rio Tinto Alcan, before taking on management positions at Mondi Group and Scapa. In 2017, Neuling was appointed Vice President Flooring at Beaulieu Flooring Solutions. Just before joining Belysse, he guided Melrose in the sale of Nortek HVAC to Madison.
Neuling holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (University of Adelaide, Australia), a Graduate Diploma in Marketing (Thames Business School, Singapore), and a Master of Business Administration (IMD Business School, Switzerland). He holds Australian, British, and Belgian nationality and resides in Belgium with his wife and four sons.
