Lars Larsen Group clarified that its recent organisational changes do not alter Jysk's direction but reflect broader market conditions. The group split into two main areas, Jysk and Investments, while closing the Retail unit, which was originally created to explore acquisitions of other retail companies.

The company emphasised that the market, not Jysk's performance, is the reason for pausing acquisitions. Jysk remains central to the group, accounting for 86% of revenue, with strong global results in 2024/25: DKK 46.3 billion in revenue and DKK 5.6 billion in operating profit.
Board adjustments, including the return of Jesper Lund and Jacob Brunsborg, were made to support Jysk's independence within the revised structure. The strategic shift is described as a "desk exercise," focusing on organisational clarity rather than operational change, ensuring Jysk continues as the group's growth engine.
