Westwing introduces Danilo, a new line of furniture crafted from recycled textiles. The collection includes dining tables and stools made using Rezign® technology, which transforms discarded fabrics into durable, visually striking surfaces.

Materials include old denim, military uniforms, suits, and white jeans, combined with bio-based fibres like flax, hemp, and jute. These fibres are shredded, carded into felt, and pressed with a biodegradable binder derived from potato starch residue, creating sustainable yet design-forward furniture.
Erasmia Kitou, Director of Corporate Sustainability at Westwing, explains:
"With Danilo, design and responsibility belong together. Each piece carries its own story, merging refined design with conscious choice."
The Danilo line aligns with Westwing's 2026 sustainability goals, including the use of certified responsibly sourced wood, cotton, and animal by-products, as well as increased recycled plastic use and elimination of hazardous substances.
The furniture will be available in various colours and materials, giving each piece a unique aesthetic while promoting environmental responsibility.
