Football star Thomas Müller is making headlines off the pitch by investing a seven-figure sum in Poptop, a children's furniture startup based in Traiskirchen, Austria. This marks the 2014 World Cup winner's latest entrepreneurial move as his football career at FC Bayern winds down.

Poptop, founded by Christian Bezdeka and Marcus Ihlenfeld, creators of the successful woom children's bike brand, develops innovative, sustainable furniture designed specifically for children. Key products include height-adjustable desks with a focus on design, function, and environmental responsibility.
Müller praised the company for combining "style, function, and responsibility," adding that it has potential for "something truly great." The new capital will support poptop's product innovation, brand development, and international expansion, with the goal of reaching over €100 million in annual revenue and market leadership.

This is not Müller's first venture in business. His growing portfolio includes investments in food tech, aviation, and equestrian companies. While his future in football remains undecided, with a possible move to Major League Soccer (MLS) speculated, his business career continues to flourish.
