The new store, situated on a prime corner location near Baku's busiest shopping malls, offers customers vibrant visual access to KARE's colourful style worlds, thanks to expansive window frontage. Designed entirely on one level and featuring an integrated kitchen studio, the new space caters to a broad demographic, promising an immersive shopping experience for design-conscious clientele.
The grand opening event was celebrated in true KARE fashion (with music, celebrities, and entertainment) and even featured "a pinch of eccentricity" as each guest took home a unique memento, staying true to the brand's signature flair.
CEO Peter Schönhofen made a personal appearance at the launch, underlining the store's importance within the company's international strategy. 'Unser neuer Partner kennt den Markt wie kaum ein anderer – gemeinsam schaffen wir ein Erlebnis für designaffine Kundinnen und Kunden in Aserbaidschan,' he stated. Translated: 'Our new partner knows the market like no other – together we are creating an experience for design-savvy customers in Azerbaijan.'
KARE's exclusive franchise partner in Azerbaijan is a well-established retail expert who currently operates over 30 shops in the region, including global names like Villeroy & Boch, Swarovski, and Chopard. The relationship with KARE dates back over six years, having begun as a shop-in-shop concept inside a Villeroy & Boch store. Continuous revenue growth led to the evolution of the partnership into a full national franchise agreement.
KARE's success in Azerbaijan can be attributed to its distinctive formula: eclectic design, broad product range, and competitive pricing. According to Schönhofen, 'Diese Entwicklung zeigt: Unsere Marke trifft weltweit den Nerv der Zeit,' meaning 'This development shows that our brand strikes a chord with the times worldwide.'
The move further strengthens KARE's international footprint and illustrates the brand's commitment to bringing bold, individualistic design to diverse markets. With Azerbaijan now officially part of its franchise family, KARE continues to deliver on its promise of "joy of living" through innovative interiors.
