Talenti debuted its latest design collection Jun at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2025, created by newly awarded Compasso d'Oro designer Marco Acerbis. The collection's name, derived from the Japanese word for "pure and sincere," captured the essence of this refined and emotionally resonant series.

'Jun in Japanese means "pure and sincere" and never could a name be more fitting for a collection that aims to strike straight at the heart,' the company stated. Jun emerged as a response to Talenti's vision of elegance grounded in simplicity and authenticity, hallmarks of the Umbrian brand's global design ethos.
Acerbis described the design as an interplay of contrast and harmony: 'The main characteristics of Jun, the new collection designed by me for Talenti, are the balance due to the interplay between the voluminousness of the cushions and the very clean lines of the structure.' He added, 'A structure that merges with the fabrics of the backrest and armrest upholstery almost as if they were one, giving a sense of semi-dimensionality.'
Crafted in gently curved teak, the frame appeared almost two-dimensional, inviting the eye to rest on the plump, generously stretched cushions. The structure's design met the challenge of minimal material use with maximum visual and tactile impact. 'It was not a very quick and easy process because I wanted something that gave a sense of softness but remained sufficiently parallel to the ground without becoming too exuberant. It was a challenge, but we are really satisfied,' said Acerbis.
Jun also marked the introduction of a new material for Talenti's outdoor tables, porcelain stoneware with a glass effect, bordered by a teak frame. Its bold yet recessed legs complemented the softness of the seating while maximising comfort. 'The aesthetic harmony with the shapes of the sofas is combined with a great practicality given by the ability to increase the leg space available,' the brand explained.
The palette featured fresh, nature-inspired tones, light blue, green, and beige, designed to blend with outdoor environments. 'Colours that further enhance the generosity of the seats and create a continuum with nature where the blue of the sky blends with the green of plants, trees and meadows.'
Beyond modular sofas, the Jun family included lounge chairs, coffee tables, and dining elements, all unified by their materials, shapes, and calming tones. 'Elements where materials, colours and lines are in complete synergy with a single objective: to offer moments of absolute relaxation.'
As part of Talenti's ongoing expansion and commitment to outdoor elegance, Jun encapsulated its mission to merge indoor sophistication with outdoor living. With distribution in over 70 countries and collaborations with leading designers, Talenti continues to shape the global landscape of outdoor design.
