Great interest for new trade fair format of idd cologne

idd cologne, the new premium trade fair for exclusive interior design, will open its doors for the first time from 26 to 29 October 2025. The sales phase is in full swing and even now, shortly before the end of the early bird phase, it is clear that there is great interest in the new trade fair format, and many well-known brands have confirmed their participation. Interested exhibitors can still benefit from attractive early-bird conditions until the end of May.

As a new high-value platform for furnishing solutions in the residential, hospitality and contract business sectors, idd cologne is the place that brings groundbreaking design trends and the highest quality to life. Under the guiding theme of "Shaping Homes & Hospitality", the trade fair will focus on high-quality interior design for both private and commercial spaces.

Many premium brands already confirmed
As one of Europe's leading furniture locations, Cologne offers ideal conditions for interior brands to position themselves in the European market in a targeted manner with idd cologne. Exhibiting companies that want to establish or intensify contacts with decision-makers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will also find valuable access here – as shown by the high visitor frequencies at the established trade fairs in Koelnmesse's furniture portfolio. Noticeable attention from design-defining regions of Europe
Particularly pleasing: The trade fair is also registering steadily growing interest, especially from important European furniture nations and Germany's neighbouring countries. After initial discussions with European premium manufacturing companies, the participation of a Norwegian exhibitor association in a pavilion organised by Innovation Norway has already been confirmed.

idd cologne downtown: The city programme takes shape
Parallel to exhibitor sales, the accompanying city programme "idd cologne downtown" is also gaining momentum. Around 25 retailers, flagship stores and design and creative centres in the premium segment have confirmed their participation and started planning special promotions during the trade fair. This means that idd cologne can be experienced not only on the exhibition grounds, but also in the urban area of Cologne.

Early bird benefits until the end of May
The omens for the premiere of idd cologne are very good. Interested exhibitors have until 31 May 2025 to secure early-bird prices and attractive premiere discounts.
