Including a stool, counter stool, and barstool, as well as a side chair with a sled base designed for easy stacking and interlinking, the expansion of Anderssen & Voll's Pavilion series continues the signature elegant yet functional design language the range has become synonymous with. Designed with the same meticulous attention to detail, the new stool, bar stool and counter stool maintain the series' signature airy quality while offering versatile seating solutions for a variety of environments.
'Pavillion was the very first project we did with &Tradition and in many ways captured the spirit of the company as we saw it - something Scandinavian, but not purely Scandinavian. It was interesting though to have a fresh look at the product range 10 years after the initial introduction. The sled-based chair feels more like an independent new product rather than the original chair on top of a new base. The theme with the tube as a fluent ribbon connecting the seat and back to the floor is further articulated in this new version.'
Developed to meet the needs of the contract market, the new sled-based Pavilion makes seating large gatherings of people, such as conferences or theatre shows, even easier to cater to. Streamlining necessary requirements, the easy interlinking system keeps mass seating arrangements neat and compact, while the stacking feature makes storage and transportation simple. Despite its robust functionality, the sled base side chair retains the graceful, rhythmic lines that define the Pavilion series. The side chair is also available in a range of upholstery options.
In line with other models in the Pavilion family, the new stool and sled base side chair variants are also stackable.
